Tjyllyungoo – Lance Chadd – Art Career

Theme:

Tjyllyungoo’s formidable painting skills allow his visions of Australia’s harsh yet fragile environment and  spiritual unity with his home land and heritage to be recorded on canvas, linen and rag paper. These living records lend experience for cultural generations to follow and their special appeal and poignancy render them highly accessible for others. The artist has painted professionally since 1981 and his works are in many collections worldwide and locally including the Art Gallery of Western Australia and the Berndt Museum Collection.

Education:

Tjyllyungoo’s artistic efforts are all the admirable considering that he has received no formal training.
